Former President Pranab Mukherjee dies at 84

Stalwart of Indian Politics, a trues statesman, Citizen Mukherjee and Prime Minister which India never had are some of the phrases which can be used to describe the former President of India Pranab Mukherjee. The former president who had tested positive for coronavirus went into deep coma after he underwent brain surgery.

“With a Heavy Heart , this is to inform you that my father Shri Pranab Mukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital and prayers, duas and prarthanas from people throughout India ! I thank all of You,” his son Abhijit Mukherjee tweeted.
